FREE COFFEE 9:30-11 a.m.
President Bowen is hosting an open coffee hour Tuesday, Sep 16 at the gazebo with FREE COFFEE from the Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company Coffee Truck from 9:30-11 a.m.
He says “Please stop by and say “hello.” Ask questions, bend my ear. It is all ok. Also, the GSG is also hosting me in the Forum on Wednesday at 9pm for more conversation.”
The funniest. Seriously. Too many places like this in the Baltimore area to name. Let’s be honest, most are fantastic! So, whatevs.
From the Huffington Post.
"More than 80 percent of the U.S. population — roughly 250 million people — live within 20 miles of a Starbucks."
Yep, Goucher is 1 mile from our closest. That Pike Place Roast may be close, but we also have coffee on campus. Read more of the craziness here.
We have Alice’s, the Gopher Hole, and numerous nearby coffee shops, but this is a list if you want a little drive =).
I don’t know what the top does. I don’t know what the plastic stick does. I don’t even really know what the sleeve does. But I want that little kit because this is my morning toy. And then — and this is gonna sound very naive, I really am very naive in a lot of areas — I didn’t realize that caffeine has quite an effect on you. And that got to be another toy. So it’s this big fun toy.
After lagging behind other cities for years, Baltimore suddenly has a legitimate coffee scene.
And we’re .7 miles away from one of the featured cafes!
Behold, the cookie cup.
No, this might not be obviously Goucher related, but it is truly awesome. So, now imagine some Alice’s coffee in one of these bad boys once they start production. Yep, amazing.
A Baltimore coffee revolution? Goucher students can get their own cuppa joe on campus, but when they’re in the mood for some coffee exploration, the city offers a growing scene.
